The Reykjavik Refugee is a typographic publication exploring Grimsby’s fishing heritage through the story of skipper Bernard “Bunny” Newton. Combining expressive typography with archival imagery in a newspaper format, the
project was awarded membership to the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD) in the 2023 Student Assessment Scheme.

The campaign creative was built around bold nightlife inspired imagery, combing the high energy racing photography with
a typographic system to bring F1 Arcade’s high octane experience to life
